Day 3 at TIFF and it’s CALM WITH HORSES turn for it’s World Premiere! Nick Rowland’s feature debut is cut by Andonis Trattos, with costume design by Sharon Long and hair and make-up design by Emma Scott. Starring Cosmo Jarvis and Barry Keoghan, the film is also nominated in the first feature competition at London Film Festival!

A huge success at festivals already, Peter Strickland’s IN FABRIC is screening at Tribeca today! The horror film - with a comedy twist - tells the story of a haunted red dress that proves to be possessed while passing from one owner to the other! Costumes were designed by echo's Jo Thompson and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Emma Scott.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR, COLIN BURSTEAD" IS RELEASED ON BBC TWO TONIGHT!
Ben Wheatley’s new feature HAPPY NEW YEAR, COLIN BURSTEAD is released today on BBC Two at 10.30pm! Wheatley has teamed up again with echo’s Costume Designer Emma Fryer and Hair + Make-Up Designer Emma Scott after working together on FREE FIRE. The film premiered at London Film Festival this year after making an exclusive deal with the BBC to house the film on the channel. Make sure to check it out!

“POSSUM” SEES ITS UK RELEASE TODAY!
Starring Sean Harris, Matthew Holness' feature debut, POSSUM is out in UK cinemas today! Produced by BFI and The Fyzz, the film features hair and make-Up design by echo’s Emma Scott, and art direction by Alexandra Toomey. The twisted horror sees a disgraced children's puppeteer being forced to confront his wicked stepfather and the secrets that have tortured him throughout his life.

Ben Wheatley’s new film HAPPY NEW YEAR, COLIN BURSTEAD premieres tonight! With Costume Design by echo’s Emma Fryer and Hair and Make Up Design by Emma Scott, the film is part of LFF’s Official Competition and stars Neil Maskell, Sam Riley, Joe Cole, Charles Dance, Hayley Squires and more. The film will then air on BBC this Christmas.
UKMVA NOMINATIONS ARE OUT!
We are so thrilled for this year’s UKMVA. Very proud to say that Dua Lipa’s IDGAF, with Production Design by echo’s Morgan Kennedy and Stormzy Ft Mnek’s BLINDED BY YOUR GRACE, with Hair and Make-Up Design by Emma Scott have been nominated for “Best Pop Video”. Also nominated for “Best Pop Video” in the Newcomer category was Lightwave Empire’s TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN, shot by Nadim Carlsen. Whooop!
LYNNE RAMSAY’S UN “FEED OUR FUTURE” CAMPAIGN IS OUT!
Lynne Ramsay has directed the latest UN campaign titled “Feed Our Future”, which tackles the issue of worldwide hunger. The cinema advertisement was produced by Somesuch and Co., with costumes designed by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop and hair and make-up designed by Emma Scott.

TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FULL LINE UP ANNOUNCED!
TIFF 2018 has been releasing their line up in stages over the last couple of weeks, with the final program announced last night. We are very pleased to congratulate the following echo clients whose projects are at the festival; Gala Presentations include the world premiere of David McKenzie's OUTLAW KING which will open the festival, with Costume Design by Jane Petrie and Hair + Make-Up Design by Kirstin Chalmers; the world premiere of Nicole Holofcener's THE LAND OF STEADY HABITS with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird and A PRIVATE WAR directed by Matthew Heineman with Production Design by Sophie Becher. Lensed by Sean Price Williams, Alex Ross Perry's HER SMELL will also have it's world premiere at the festival and will be shown in the Platform Presentations Program. In the Special Presentation Category we have more world premieres for TEEN SPIRIT, directed by Max Minghella with Production Design by Kave Quinn; and Jake Scott's AMERICAN WOMAN which again features Costume Design by Alex Bovaird. Costume Designer, Jo Thompson and Hair + Make-up Designer, Emma Scott worked on Peter Strickland's IN FABRIC, which is part of the Midnight Madness program. "CALM WITH HORSES" NOW SHOOTING
DMC Film, Element Pictures and Film4 have combined forces to produce the film, CALM WITH HORSES which is now shooting. With hair + make-up design by Emma Scott and costume design by Sharon Long, NFTS director graduate, Nick Rowland's debut feature stars Cosmo Jarvis (LADY MACBETH) and Barry Keoghan (THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER). The story follows the father of a young autistic boy who is the feared enforcer of a drug dealing family and how his attempt to finally do the right thing puts everyone in danger.
SHOOTING HAS BEGUN ON "COLIN YOU ANUS"
Ben Wheatley's COLIN YOU ANUS, produced by Andy Starke of Rook Films has started shooting. Hair + Make-Up Designer, Emma Scott and Costume Designer, Emma Fryer reunite with Wheatley on this mysterious new feature.
EMMA SCOTT BEGINS SHOOTING "IN FABRIC"
Peter Strickland starts shooting on IN FABRIC today, a ghost story about a cursed dress in a department store. The project will feature Hair and Make Up design by Emma Scott, and will star BROADCHURCH's Marianne Jean-Baptiste. The film is co-financed by the BFI, the National Lottery, BBC Films and Rook Films.
TOMAS ALFREDSON'S "THE SNOWMAN" OPENS IN UK CINEMAS TODAY
Based on Jo Nesbø's novel of the same name, this crime thriller stars Michael Fassbender as detective Harry Hole, tasked with the investigation of a woman's murder. The thriller is directed by LET THE RIGHT ONE IN and TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY director, Tomas Alfredson, with Hair and Make Up design by Emma Scott.
Director Ben Wheatley's FREE FIRE is out in the UK today. Nominated for two BIFA 2016 awards, including best director, the film follows a shootout between two gangs in 1970's Boston. Starring Brie Larson, with costume design by Emma Fryer and make-up and hair by Emma Scott. FREE FIRE closed the 2016 BFI London Film Festival, was part of the official selection of the 2016 Toronto Film Festival and will be released in the US on 21st April 2017.
