Henry Blake’s COUNTY LINES had it’s World Premiere at the London Film Festival yesterday - if you missed it you can still catch the screenings tonight or on Sunday! Make sure to look out for the costume design by Sharon Long.
JP Valkeapää's DOGS DON'T WEAR PANTS also had it's UK Premiere yesterday - cut by echo’s Editor Mervi Junkkonen - it's last screening at the fest is tonight! Don't miss out!
"BLACK SHEEP" IS NOMINATED FOR A GRIERSON AWARD!
BLACK SHEEP is nominated for Best Documentary Short at this year’s Grierson Awards! Directed by Ed Perkins, the film, which was also nominated for an Oscar this year, was shot by the brilliant Michael Paleodimos and features costume design by the wonderful Sharon Long.
The awards ceremony takes place in London on 14th of November!
"CALM WITH HORSES" ADDED TO TIFF LINEUP!
Nick Rowland’s CALM WITH HORSES will have it’s World Premiere at TIFF 2019! The most recent round of line up announcements revealed that the film, starring Cosmo Jarvis and Barry Keoghan, will be screened in the Discovery section of the festival. We are excited for everyone to see Costume Designer Sharon Long and Hair + Make-Up Designer Emma Scott’s work - along with Editing by Andonis Trattos!
The festival runs from 5th - 15th September!

Day 3 at TIFF and it’s CALM WITH HORSES turn for it’s World Premiere! Nick Rowland’s feature debut is cut by Andonis Trattos, with costume design by Sharon Long and hair and make-up design by Emma Scott. Starring Cosmo Jarvis and Barry Keoghan, the film is also nominated in the first feature competition at London Film Festival!

"BLACK SHEEP" RECEIVES OSCAR NOMINATION!
We are very proud to congratulate Director of Photography Michael Paleodimos and Costume Designer Sharon Long for their work on Ed Perkin’s short film BLACK SHEEP which has received an Oscar Nomination for Best Documentary Short!
Congratulations also go to THE FAVOURITE, Additional Editor Sam Sneade and BORDER shot by Nadim Carlsen which both also received nominations. The award ceremony will take place Sunday 24th February in LA.
"BLACK SHEEP" SHORTLISTED THE OSCARS!
The Oscar nominations will be announced next week and we wanted to give a mention to Ed Perkins’ beautiful short documentary film, BLACK SHEEP, which has been shortlisted amongst only 10 other films. Shot by echo’s Michael Paleodimos and with costumes by echo’s Sharon Long the film is an emotional story of a young black teenager and his attempt to "fit in" with a white racist gang. "THE WHITE KING" IS SHOWING ON SONY MOVIE CHANNEL TONIGHT!
You can watch THE WHITE KING, directed by Jorg Tittel and Alex Helfrecht on Sony Movie Channel tonight at 11.10pm. Look out for the costume design by echo’s super talented Sharon Long. The film, starring Fiona Shaw and Agyness Deyn, follows a young boy growing up in brutal dictatorship shut off from the outside world, desperate to see his imprisoned father again.
SHARON LONG STARTS SHOOT ON "COUNTY LINES"!
Costume Designer, Sharon Long, has begun the shoot on Henry Blake’s debut feature COUNTY LINES!! The movie, produced by Two Birds Entertainment and Loupe Films, is based on Blake’s short film (pictured) of the same name and is a hard hitting story about a mother and her fourteen year old son who is groomed into a dangerous nationwide drug and trafficking ring.

Congrats to BLACK SHEEP, the short documentary, directed by Ed Perkins and produced by Simon Chinn and Lightbox for The Guardian, which took home the prize for 'Best Short' at it's UK premiere at Sheffield International Documentary Festival yesterday. Shot by Michael Paleodimos with costume design by Sharon Long, the powerful story follows Cornelius, who joins the racist gang who have been persecuting him in order to 'fit in'.
