David Koepp’s YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT is out today! Due to cinemas still being closed, you can rent/buy the film on all major VOD platforms. The film, starring Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried, is a creepy horror about a family who rent a property in the country…but the house is not what it seems. Make sure to look out for the amazing work of both Production Designer Sophie Becher and Costume Designer Susie Coulthard!

"A PRIVATE WAR" IS RELEASED IN US CINEMAS TODAY!

You can see our client Sophie Becher’s incredible production design on Academy Award nominee’s Matthew Heineman’s new film A PRIVATE WAR. Produced by Acacia Films, Thunder Road and The Fyzz, the movie stars Rosamund Pike, playing the fearless war correspondent Marie Colvin. After doing the festival rounds it has a limited release in the US today and then will be in cinemas worldwide from the 16th of November. Save the date UK!

Featuring Amanda Seyfried (pictured in FIRST REFORMED) and Kevin Bacon, YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT has started shooting this week. Produced by GET OUT’s Blumhouse Productions, Director David Koepp is collaborating with echo’s Production Designer Sophie Becher and Costume Designer Susie Coulthard.

“A PRIVATE WAR”: ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS

Academy Award nominee, Matthew Heineman’s latest work, A PRIVATE WAR, had it’s world premiere at TIFF and will premiere in the UK at the London Film Festival on 20th October. Based on true events, the biographical drama tells the chronicles of American-born British war reporter, Marie Colvin (played by Rosamund Pike), who has been driven for years by a persistent urge to bear witness and give voice to the voiceless. Look out for the incredible production design from echo’s Sophie Becher!

TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FULL LINE UP ANNOUNCED!

TIFF 2018 has been releasing their line up in stages over the last couple of weeks, with the final program announced last night. We are very pleased to congratulate the following echo clients whose projects are at the festival; Gala Presentations include the world premiere of David McKenzie's OUTLAW KING which will open the festival, with Costume Design by Jane Petrie and Hair + Make-Up Design by Kirstin Chalmers; the world premiere of Nicole Holofcener's THE LAND OF STEADY HABITS with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird and A PRIVATE WAR directed by Matthew Heineman with Production Design by Sophie Becher. Lensed by Sean Price WilliamsAlex Ross Perry's HER SMELL will also have it's world premiere at the festival and will be shown in the Platform Presentations Program. In the Special Presentation Category we have more world premieres for TEEN SPIRIT, directed by Max Minghella with Production Design by Kave Quinnand Jake Scott's AMERICAN WOMAN which again features Costume Design by Alex Bovaird. Costume Designer, Jo Thompson and Hair + Make-up Designer, Emma Scott worked on Peter Strickland's IN FABRIC, which is part of the Midnight Madness program. The Contemporary World Cinema category includes BORDER directed by Ali Abassi and shot by Nadim Carlsen; and BIRDS OF PASSAGE directed by Cristina Gallego and Ciro Guerro, lensed by DoP David Gallego, ADFC. Last but not least, GWEN directed by William McGregor and with Production Design by Laura Ellis Cricks will appear in the Discovery section. Congratulations to you all! TlFF takes place between 6th - 16th September.
