ECHO'S BEST FILMS OF 2018: "THE FAVOURITE"!

THE FAVOURITE is number 2 in our 2018 Best Films list! Yorgos Lanthimos’ most recent feature has topped critics lists worldwide and has already received countless nominations. With additional editing by echo’s Sam Sneade, it’s a brilliant, smart and fun movie with a fabulous cast. It’s out in the UK on the 1st of January!

"THE FAVOURITE" WINS GRAND JURY PRIZE AT VENICE!

THE FAVOURITE, the latest film from Academy Award nominated director, Yorgos Lanthimos, has won the Grand Jury Prize at this year's Venice along with Olivia Colman winning the Best Actress Volpi Cup.

With additional editing by echo's Sam Sneade and starring Rachel Weisz, Emma Stone and Olivia Colman, the film was also part of the selection for New York and Telluride Film Festivals and is also part of the London Film Festival in October.

Festival Season is in full swing and Telluride has now announced their lineup for this year's festival. Congratulations to Sam Sneade, Additional Editor on THE FAVOURITE directed by Yorgos Lanthimos; Director of Photography Nadim Carlsen for Ali Abbasi's BORDER; Director of Photography David Gallego, ADFC for BIRDS OF PASSAGE directed by Cristina Gallego and Ciro Guerra; our new client, Director of Photography Joe Anderson for OLD MAN AND THE GUN directed by David Lowery and Editor Matteo Bini for documentary RETURN TO PODOR, directed by Kevin MacDonald. Huge congrats to you all!

VENICE FILM FESTIVAL LINE UP ANNOUNCED!

This year's Venice Film Festival line up has been announced! Congratulations go to Sam Sneade who was Additional Editor on Yorgos Lanthimos' THE FAVOURITE which is nominated for a Golden Lion Award. Congrats also go to Director of Photography Carlos Catalan for Alvaro Brechner's LA NOCHE DE 12 AÑOS (pictured) which is nominated for Best Film in the Horizon Award category. The festival takes place between 29th August and 8th September.
