"THE NORTH WATER" IS OUT IN THE US TODAY!
THE NORTH WATER is out in the US today! Andrew Haig’s miniseries premieres tonight on AMC+ with brilliant costumes designed by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop. The five parter is based on Ian McGuire's bestselling novel of the same name and stars Colin Farrell, Stephen Graham, Peter Mullan and Jack O’Connell.
Looking forward to UK release date in the Autumn on the BBC!
TBT: "BRIGITTE" AT VENICE FILM FESTIVAL!
Throwing it back to these beautiful images shot by Brigitte Lacombe from the short film BRIGITTE! The film, directed by Lynne Ramsay, screened at Venice earlier this month and features production design by Laura Ellis-Cricks and costume design by Sarah Blenkinsop. It is the 18th commission from Miu Miu Women’s Tales, the short film series that champions female directors to investigate vanity and femininity in the 21st century. Tom Beard’s TWO FOR JOY is available on Sky Cinema from today! The film, which features Production Design by Laura Ellis Cricks and Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop, follows a daughter (Billie Piper), her bed-ridden mother (Samantha Morton), and her troubled younger brother, as they work through themes of mental illness and young carers.

TWO FOR JOY is a family drama about a mother (Samantha Morton) who gets depression after her husband’s death, with devastating consequences on her two children. The film was directed by Tom Beard, with Production Design by echo’s Laura Ellis Cricks and Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop and produced by Blonde to Black Pictures, Pretty Bird and Creative England. LYNNE RAMSAY’S UN “FEED OUR FUTURE” CAMPAIGN IS OUT!
Lynne Ramsay has directed the latest UN campaign titled “Feed Our Future”, which tackles the issue of worldwide hunger. The cinema advertisement was produced by Somesuch and Co., with costumes designed by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop and hair and make-up designed by Emma Scott.

ECHO congratulates Editor, Luke Dunkley and Costume Designer, Sarah Blenkinsop for NATIONAL TREASURE being nominated for a BAFTA TV Award for Best Mini Series after winning an RTS Award for the same. THE CROWN, which Luke Dunkley also edited, has also been nominated for Best Drama Series after winning a Golden Globe for Best Television Drama. The awards will be announced on Sunday 14 May 2017.
