We are pleased to say that HOLIDAY is released in the UK today! You will be able to see the film, directed by Isabella Eklöf and shot by echo’s DoP Nadim Carlsen, at select cinemas in the UK.

Isabella Eklöf’s feature debut, HOLIDAY, is available to stream on Mubi for the next week. The film, abrutal and hard hitting story of female oppression and abuse, is shot by echo’s brilliant DoP Nadim Carlsen and was nominated at both London and Sundance Film Festivals last year.

Very proud to say that Dua Lipa’s IDGAF, with Production Design by echo’s Morgan Kennedy and Stormzy Ft Mnek’s BLINDED BY YOUR GRACE, with Hair and Make-Up Design by Emma Scott have been nominated for “Best Pop Video”. Also nominated for “Best Pop Video” in the Newcomer category was Lightwave Empire’s TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN, shot by Nadim Carlsen. Whooop!

FOREIGN LANGUAGE ENTRIES AT THE OSCARS
WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY has been submitted as Norway’s representative at the 91st Academy Awards. Deeply moving and stunningly shot by echo’s Nadim Carlsen this movie takes the audience onto an emotional roller coaster. Ali Abbasi’s BORDER, which was also shot by Nadim Carlsen is the Norwegian entry and Ciro Guerra and Cristina Gallego’s BIRDS OF PASSAGE, lensed by David Gallego, ADFC is the Columbian entry. We are also very proud to say that I AM NOT A WITCH has been submitted as this year’s UK entry, also shot by David Gallego, ADFC, with Costume Design by Holly Rebecca and Art Direction by Malin Lindholm. Fingers crossed, go team echo!
NADIM CARLSEN SHOOTS "PSYCHOSIS IN STOCKHOLM"!
Our DoP Nadim Carlsen, has begun shooting Maria Bäck's new feature PSYCHOSIS IN STOCKOLM. Produced by Garagefilm alongside The Swedish Film Institute and The Danish Film Institute, the film tells the story of Bäck's own experience as a teenager, when her mother became ill while on holiday in Stockholm.
