BAFTA TELEVISION AWARDS!

The winners of the 2019 BAFTA Television Awards were announced last night and we are thrilled that PATRICK MELROSE won Best Mini-Series, congrats to the all echo editing team of Tim Murrell, Luke Dunkley, Dan Roberts and Simon Smith; and SALLY4EVER picked up the award for Best Scripted Comedy which features Costume Design by echo’s Emma Fryer!

"PATRICK MELROSE" BROADCASTS THIS WEEKEND!

The new series, PATRICK MELROSE, starring Benedict Cumberbatch will be released in the US on Saturday and the UK on Sunday. Produced by Little Island Productions and Cumberbatch's production company SunnyMarch for Showtime and Sky Atlantic, the story is based on Edward St Aubyn's novels that follow Melrose's journey from traumatic childhood through to adult substance abuse. Ed Berger directs the 5 part series and echo's Tim Murrell cut all episodes with Luke Dunkley co-editing episodes 2 + 4 and Dan Roberts co-editing episode 3. For UK viewers, tune in to Sky Atlantic at 9pm on Sunday night!

EDITING IS UNDERWAY ON "MELROSE"

Editors Dan Roberts and Luke Dunkley are in full swing on PATRICK MELROSE, directed by Edward Berger starring Benedict Cumberbatch.  The new 5 part series for Sky Atlantic and Showtime is based on the of novels by Edward St. Aubyn following the harrowing life of Patrick Melrose. Jumping from his youth in the South of France in the 1960s to New York in the 80s and finally London in the 2000s, the story follows his traumatic childhood, his struggles with substance abuse and eventual road to recovery.  Dan Roberts is co-cutting episode 3 and Luke Dunkley is co-cutting episodes 2 and 4.
