STAN AND OLLIE is the Closing Night Gala of this year’s London Film Fest! Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly star as the most iconic Hollywood comedy duo. Directed by Jon S. Baird and produced by Entertainment One and BBC, the film portrays the life long relationship of Laurel and Hardy with fabulous Costume Design by echo’s Guy Speranza. Catch contemporary dancer Bobby Jene Smith playing Charlotte in Georgia Parris’ debut film MARI, premiering tonight at LFF! Parris blends dance and drama, following Charlotte undergoing a complex journey through womanhood. Featuring work from echo clients Hair and Make-Up Designer, Bean Ellis, Costume Designer Holly Rebecca, Production Designer Bobby Cousins and Editor Napoleon Stratogiannakis.

ALEX BOVAIRD DESIGNS THE COSTUMES FOR BAD EDUCATION!

Shoot has begun on BAD EDUCATION and echo’s Costume Designer Alex Bovaird is once again collaborating with director Corey Finley. The film is produced by LA LA LAND Oscar winning producer Fred Berger through Automatik Entertainment and starts Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney.

TWO FOR JOY is a family drama about a mother (Samantha Morton) who gets depression after her husband’s death, with devastating consequences on her two children. The film was directed by Tom Beard, with Production Design by echo’s Laura Ellis Cricks and Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop and produced by Blonde to Black Pictures, Pretty Bird and Creative England. Out in the UK cinemas today!

Created by Kit Steinkellner, with costumes by Alex Bovaird and starring Elizabeth Olsen, SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS is available on Facebook Watch today. The series follows Leigh, who is left shell-shocked after the sudden death of her husband and is forced to realise that there was a lot about him she didn’t know.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE ENTRIES AT THE OSCARS

WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY has been submitted as Norway’s representative at the 91st Academy Awards. Deeply moving and stunningly shot by echo’s Nadim Carlsen this movie takes the audience onto an emotional roller coaster. Ali Abbasi’s BORDER, which was also shot by Nadim Carlsen is the Norwegian entry and Ciro Guerra and Cristina Gallego’s BIRDS OF PASSAGE, lensed by David Gallego, ADFC is the Columbian entry. We are also very proud to say that I AM NOT A WITCH has been submitted as this year’s UK entry, also shot by David Gallego, ADFC, with Costume Design by Holly Rebecca and Art Direction by Malin Lindholm. Fingers crossed, go team echo!

COSTUME DESIGNER GUY SPERANZA BEGINS SHOOT ON ALEX GARLAND'S "DEVS"!

DEVS, the new 8 part series directed by Alex Garland (pictured with Alicia Vikander in Ex Machina) has started shooting this week. The thriller, produced by DNA Films and FX productions, follows a computer engineer who suspects that a secretive department in her company is behind the disappearance of her boyfriend. Echo's Guy Speranza is on board to design the costumes and Nick Offerman and Zach Grenier star.
