"LET ME GO" OPENS IN THE UK TODAY

Written and directed by Polly Steele, LET ME GO is loosely based on the memoir of Helga Shneider, who reckons with the trauma of having been abandoned at a young age by her mother, when she left her family to become an SS guard at Auschwitz. The film is the story of mothers and daughters, and how trauma is passed down between generations. With costume design by Holly Rebecca, the film stars Juliet Stevenson as Helga, and is produced by In Trust Films.
