Joe Marcantonio’s KINDRED is available to watch on Sky and Now TV! The film features a star studded cast including Tamara Lawrence, Fiona Shaw and Jack Lowden and was shot by echo DoP Carlos Catalan, with costume design by Natalie Humphries and Hair and Make-Up Design by Bean Ellis.

"KILLING EVE" SEASON 3 AVAILABLE TOMORROW FROM 6AM ON iPLAYER!
KILLING EVE Season 3 will be released in the US today but not to worry UK, from 6am tomorrow (for the very keen) we can stream the first episode on iPlayer. DoP Carlos Catalan shot episodes 3 + 4 for Director Miranda Bowen. The series will also start on BBC One on Sunday 19th April at 9pm and new episodes following each Sunday after that.

Video Game, League of Legends, has upped the ante with the release of the new music video GIANTS by virtual band True Damage! The video, in collaboration with The Line Animation, currently has over 15 millions view on YouTube and features work from echo DoP Carlos Catalan who shot the Paris cityscapes.

"LA NOCHE DE 12 AÑOS" IS RELEASED IN SPAIN TODAY!
Alvaro Brechner's LA NOCHE DE 12 AÑOS / A TWELVE YEAR NIGHT is released in Spain today. The film which was nominated for Best Film at Venice Film Festival this year was shot by echo’s Director of Photography Carlos Catalan. Based on a true story of three men forced into solitary confinement for 12 years including Pepe Mujica’s, who would later become president of Uruguay.
VENICE FILM FESTIVAL LINE UP ANNOUNCED!
This year's Venice Film Festival line up has been announced! Congratulations go to Sam Sneade who was Additional Editor on Yorgos Lanthimos' THE FAVOURITE which is nominated for a Golden Lion Award. Congrats also go to Director of Photography Carlos Catalan for Alvaro Brechner's LA NOCHE DE 12 AÑOS (pictured) which is nominated for Best Film in the Horizon Award category. The festival takes place between 29th August and 8th September.
"CURFEW" BEGINS!
Director of Photography Carlos Catalan and Editor Sarah Brewerton have started on CURFEW, the new 8 part original drama from Sky starring Adrian Lester, Sean Bean, Malachi Kirby and Phoebe Fox. Created by Matthew Read and produced by Endemol Shine’s Tiger Aspect, alongside Moonage, the hi-octane UK original is set in the world of street racing. The car racers will compete in customised and weaponised vehicles as they race across Britain in an attempt to escape the control of a totalitarian government. Both Carlos and Sarah are working on episode 5 for director Chris Smith and Sarah is currently cutting episode 2 directed by Colm McCarthy.
CARLOS CATALAN NOMINATED FOR RTS AWARD
Congratulations to our cinematographer Carlos Catalan on his nomination for his work on the third series of BROADCHURCH by the Royal Television Society in the 'Best Photography in a Drama & Comedy' category.
THREE GIRLS, with costume design by Emma Fryer, has received three nominations, including 'Best Director' for Philippa Lowthorpe, and Julian Jarrold received a 'Best Director' nomination for WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION, lensed by Felix Wiedemann, BSC.
The awards will be presented in London on November 27th.
CARLOS CATALAN LENSES "DON'T LOOK AT THE FINGER"
DON'T LOOK AT THE FINGER is a visual project by artist Hetain Patel. Produced by Film & Video Umbrella, the film explores a West African wedding ceremony through choreographed dance, Kung Fu and sign language. Lensed by Director of Photography, Carlos Catalan, the project will premiere in late September at Manchester Art Gallery & The QUAD Derby before touring nationwide.
