The results are in and echo's Number 1 TV and Film project of 2021 goes to...

TITANE! The directorial debut for Julia Ducournau was awarded the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival and the People's Choice Award in Toronto. The thriller was fantastically crafted and crewed, and had us all on the edge of our seats throughout - a true cinematic masterpiece!

That concludes our countdown! We wish a happy 2022 to all from the echo family and we look forward to another year of fantastic Film + TV!

ECHO BEST OF 2021: PETITE MAMAN

Number 4 of our Best of 2021 selection is the award-winning PETITE MAMAN! The beautiful film was written and directed by the brilliant Céline Sciamma, and has received huge critical acclaim as well as screening at the world's top Festivals, including TIFF and Telluride. This moving fairytale of childhood, parenthood + friendship is a strong echo favourite from this year!

ECHO BEST OF 2021: THE WHITE LOTUS

We are halfway through our Top 10 countdown and coming in hot at Number 5 is Mike White's THE WHITE LOTUS!

Featuring Costume Design from echo's Alex Bovaird, the series brought us a hilarious and layered commentary on culture, wealth and privilege.

We cannot wait for Season 2 in 2022!

2021, another year in a pandemic and another year we are grateful for some great Film & TV! As usual, we are counting down the Top 10 that our echo team have loved this year! First up at Number 10 is...

DRIVE MY CAR, directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi! We aren't alone in our appreciation, the film premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival where it was selected for the Palme d'Or and won three awards including Best Screenplay. The film has also been selected as the Japanese entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards.
