MARIA VON HAUSSWOLF NOMINATED FOR BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY AT THE SPIRIT AWARDS!

The nominations for the 40th edition of the Film Independent Spirit Awards are here, and we’re thrilled to announce echo Director of Photography, Maria von Hausswolff has been nominated for Best Cinematography for her work on JANET PLANET!

Directed by Annie Baker, the feature is set in rural Western Massachusetts, following a daughter in the summer of 1991 at home enthralled by her own imagination and the attention of her mother, Janet.

THE INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARD NOMINATIONS!

The Independent Spirit Award nominations are out and we are very pleased to see that MINARI (pictured) has been nominated for 6 awards including Best Feature and I MAY DESTROY YOU for Best New Scripted Series. MINARI was shot by echo’s Director of Photography Lachlan Milne, ACS and I MAY DESTROY YOU (eps 6 + 12) edited by John Dwelly. Congratulations!

The winners will be announced at the ceremony in LA on the 22nd April.

LUKE DUNKLEY IS NOMINATED FOR A SPIRIT AWARD!

Congratulations to echo’s Luke Dunkley who has been nominated for and Film Independent Spirit Award for Best Editing on AMERICAN ANIMALS. Directed by Bart Layton, Luke co-edited the film with Nick Fenton, Chris Gill and Julian Hart whom he shares the nomination with. Shout out also goes to echo's Andy Worboys who was also part of the editorial team. The award ceremony takes place on 23rd February in Santa Monica.
