'WILLIAM TELL', 'BIRD' AND 'ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL' SCREENING AT TIFF TODAY!

The 49th edition of the Toronto Film Festival commences today!

Today’s programme is set to kick the festival off with a bang featuring several echo client films!

WILLIAM TELL will be hosting its world premiere featuring an all-star cast including Sir Ben Kingsley and Jonathan Pryce. The epic historical drama is written and directed by Nick Hamm with Editing by Yan Miles, ACE!

Andrea Arnold’s Canadian premiere of BIRD (pictured) is also on the programme for today, with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird. Following its premiere at this year’s Cannes, the compelling drama stars Barry Keoghan, Franz Rogowski and James Nelson Joyce.

After winning the ‘Best Director’ prize at Cannes, Rungano Nyoni’s ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL will also hold its North American premiere. With Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm.

The 67th BFI London Film Festival full lineup for this year has been announced and we are proud to see the following echo client projects in the selection!

The festival’s ‘Headline Galas’ category includes Andrea Arnold’s BIRD with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird; HARD TRUTHS directed by Mike Leigh featuring Hair + Make-up Design by Nora Robertson and the Studio Canal and A24 collaboration WE LIVE IN TIME lensed by Stuart Bentley BSC.

Selected for the ‘Official Competition’ category is BRING THEM DOWN with Cinematography by Nick Cooke and Production Design by Fletcher Jarvis. Cannes winner, ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL featuring Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm. THE EXTRAORDINARY MISS FLOWER directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard with Costume Design by Susie Coulthard.

We’re also glad to see TIFF selections, HARVEST with Cinematography by Sean Price Williams and Costume Design by Kirsty Halliday screening for ‘Special Presentations’, ON FALLING starring Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan as part of the ‘First Feature Competition’ and THE ASSESSMENT with Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop for the ‘Journey’ category.

Mikko Mäkelä's SEBASTIAN has also been selected for ‘Journey’ with Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, Hair and Makeup Design by Kat Morgan and Editing by Arttu Salmi, BFE.

Elizabeth Sankey’s WITCHES (pictured) featuring Cinematography by Chloë Thomson BSC is part of the ‘Documentary Competition’.

SISTER MIDNIGHT edited by Napoleon Stratogiannakis has been featured for ‘Cult’; THE LISTENERS with Hair and Make-up Design by Lisa Parkinson for ‘Debate’ and TWO STRANGERS TRYING NOT TO KILL EACH OTHER edited by Josh Mallalieu for ‘Create’.

The 62nd New York Film Festival lineup was announced this week!

The festival is set to show Cannes ‘Best Director Prize’ winner, ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL directed by Rungano Nyoni. Starring echo client work with Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm.

Along with Mike Leigh’s HARD TRUTHS with Hair and Make Up Design by Nora Robertson.

NYFF will take place from Sep 27th - Oct 14th!

Directed by Rungano Nyoni as her second feature film, the comedy-drama filmed in Zambia features echo client work with Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm.
