'PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS' AND 'ON FALLING' AT TIFF TODAY!

Following its Cannes premiere, Alison McAlpine’s PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS will present the North American premiere at day two of TIFF today!

As part of TIFF’s Short Cuts programme, the silent short film follows three donkeys travelling across a vast and grandeur dessert on a journey of discovery with stellar Cinematography by echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni!

Earning a ‘Best Film’ nomination at this year’s upcoming San Sebastián International Film Festival, Laura Carreira’s debut feature ON FALLING will also be premiering today!

Produced by Sixteen Films and featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan.

The drama centres on Aurora, a Portuguese worker navigating life in a Scottish warehouse.

THE BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2024 LINE UP IS HERE!

The 67th BFI London Film Festival full lineup for this year has been announced and we are proud to see the following echo client projects in the selection!

The festival’s ‘Headline Galas’ category includes Andrea Arnold’s BIRD with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird; HARD TRUTHS directed by Mike Leigh featuring Hair + Make-up Design by Nora Robertson and the Studio Canal and A24 collaboration WE LIVE IN TIME lensed by Stuart Bentley BSC.

Selected for the ‘Official Competition’ category is BRING THEM DOWN with Cinematography by Nick Cooke and Production Design by Fletcher Jarvis. Cannes winner, ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL featuring Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm. THE EXTRAORDINARY MISS FLOWER directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard with Costume Design by Susie Coulthard.

We’re also glad to see TIFF selections, HARVEST with Cinematography by Sean Price Williams and Costume Design by Kirsty Halliday screening for ‘Special Presentations’, ON FALLING starring Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan as part of the ‘First Feature Competition’ and THE ASSESSMENT with Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop for the ‘Journey’ category.

Mikko Mäkelä's SEBASTIAN has also been selected for ‘Journey’ with Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, Hair and Makeup Design by Kat Morgan and Editing by Arttu Salmi, BFE.

Elizabeth Sankey’s WITCHES (pictured) featuring Cinematography by Chloë Thomson BSC is part of the ‘Documentary Competition’.

Paul Wright’s upcoming feature film, MISSION has recently wrapped with multiple echo artists collaborations!

Director of Photography, Nick Cooke, Costume Designer, Kirsty Halliday, Production Designer, Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan joined forces on the drama shot in Scotland.

Starring George McKay, the film has backing from BBC Film, Screen Scotland and Ffilm Cymru Wales.

With a premise described by producers as ‘a punk exploration of the psyche’, we’re eagerly keeping our eyes peeled!

FALLING INTO PLACE WITH ANDY DRUMMOND SHOWING AT RAINDANCE TODAY!

Aylin Tezel’s debut film, FALLING INTO PLACE will be playing at this year’s Raindance FIlm Festival today!

Produced by Compact Pictures and Weydemann Bros, this love story unfolds around Kira and Ian as they meet on the Isle of Skye whilst running away from their personal demons.

Featuring echo client work with Production Design by Andy Drummond, FALLING INTO PLACE is nominated for Discovery Award for Best Debut Feature, Best Debut Director and Best Performance in a Debut at Raindance.

THE OUTRUN TRAILER HAS ARRIVED!

Wrapping up on a stellar festival run, the trailer of Nora Fingscheidt’s THE OUTRUN has been released!

Based on Amy Liptrot's inspiring memoir, with Saoirse Ronan heading the cast, the drama features echo client work with Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make Up Design by Kat Morgan.

The UK cinema release date has been set for the 27th September 2024!

THE OUTRUN TO OPEN EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL FILM FEST!

Following it’s premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2024, Nora Fingscheidt’s THE OUTRUN will be opening at this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival!

Produced by Brock Media, BBC Film, Protagonist Pictures and Arcade Pictures, the drama stars Saoirse Ronan and Paapa Essiedu.

Featuring echo client work with Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make Up Design by Kat Morgan, EIFF will commence on the 15th August 2024!

GLASGOW FILM FEST 2024 LINEUP REVEAL!

Glasgow Film Festival will commence next week on the 28th Feb and this year already has a jam-packed lineup!

We’re excited to see some of the brilliant films being shown for 2024 include amazing echo client work.

EDGE OF SUMMER will have its world premiere at the festival, shot by Rachel Clark and Costume Design by Oliver Cronk. FALLING INTO PLACE with Production Design by Andy Drummond, and A HOUSE IN JERUSALEM featuring Hair and Make Up Design by Kat Morgan will launch their UK premieres.

It will also be the Scottish premiere for HOARD, with Production Design by Bobbie Cousins.

BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL 2024 FULL LINEUP REVEALED!

We’re gearing up for next month’s 74th Berlin International Film Festival which will host the world premiere of Johan Renck’s SPACEMAN starring Adam Sandler, with Editing by echo’s Simon Smith, ACE.

We’re also looking forward to the European premiere screening of Nora Fingscheidt’s THE OUTRUN featuring Saoirse Ronan, with Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make Up Design by Kat Morgan.
