'BRING THEM DOWN' + 'THE ASSESSMENT' TO PREMIERE ON DAY FOUR OF TIFF!

Christopher Andrew’s BRING THEM DOWN will be screening its world premiere on day four of TIFF today!

Supported by BFI, Screen Ireland, Tailored Films, MUBI and Stray Bear, the thriller drama stars Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott with Cinematography by echo’s Nick Cooke and Production Design by Fletcher Jarvis.

Another premiere gracing TIFF today will be the sci-fi thriller, THE ASSESSMENT (pictured) directed by Fleur Fortuné in her feature debut.

Featuring Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Olsen with Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop!

THE BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2024 LINE UP IS HERE!

The 67th BFI London Film Festival full lineup for this year has been announced and we are proud to see the following echo client projects in the selection!

The festival’s ‘Headline Galas’ category includes Andrea Arnold’s BIRD with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird; HARD TRUTHS directed by Mike Leigh featuring Hair + Make-up Design by Nora Robertson and the Studio Canal and A24 collaboration WE LIVE IN TIME lensed by Stuart Bentley BSC.

Selected for the ‘Official Competition’ category is BRING THEM DOWN with Cinematography by Nick Cooke and Production Design by Fletcher Jarvis. Cannes winner, ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL featuring Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm. THE EXTRAORDINARY MISS FLOWER directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard with Costume Design by Susie Coulthard.

We’re also glad to see TIFF selections, HARVEST with Cinematography by Sean Price Williams and Costume Design by Kirsty Halliday screening for ‘Special Presentations’, ON FALLING starring Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan as part of the ‘First Feature Competition’ and THE ASSESSMENT with Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop for the ‘Journey’ category.

Mikko Mäkelä's SEBASTIAN has also been selected for ‘Journey’ with Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, Hair and Makeup Design by Kat Morgan and Editing by Arttu Salmi, BFE.

Elizabeth Sankey’s WITCHES (pictured) featuring Cinematography by Chloë Thomson BSC is part of the ‘Documentary Competition’.

SISTER MIDNIGHT edited by Napoleon Stratogiannakis has been featured for ‘Cult’; THE LISTENERS with Hair and Make-up Design by Lisa Parkinson for ‘Debate’ and TWO STRANGERS TRYING NOT TO KILL EACH OTHER edited by Josh Mallalieu for ‘Create’.

Paul Wright’s upcoming feature film, MISSION has recently wrapped with multiple echo artists collaborations!

Director of Photography, Nick Cooke, Costume Designer, Kirsty Halliday, Production Designer, Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan joined forces on the drama shot in Scotland.

Starring George McKay, the film has backing from BBC Film, Screen Scotland and Ffilm Cymru Wales.

With a premise described by producers as ‘a punk exploration of the psyche’, we’re eagerly keeping our eyes peeled!

Nominations for this year’s Edinburgh TV Awards are here!

The nominee lineup has a fantastic array of some of the latest top TV series from the past year to date and we’re pleased to see several series featuring echo artist client work.

ONE DAY is up for Best Drama with Cinematography by Nick Cooke on episodes 1-4 and 14 directed by Molly Manners.

MARY & GEORGE starring Julianne Moore is nominated for Best Drama TV Actor with Alex Winckler’s episode 4, edited by Eve Doherty.

The BBC comedy-drama BOARDERS is within the Best Comedy Series and Breakthrough Performance category, lensed by Korsshan Schlauer.

Also up for Best Comedy Series is EXTRAORDINARY Season 2 featuring Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa.

Winners are to be announced next month on the 22nd of August!

We’re gearing up for Valentine’s Day with this story of destiny as Emma (Ambika Mod) and Dexter (Leo Woodall) meet for the first time on the night of their graduation. Through a magnetic connection and fate, the pair weave a love story that spans decades.
