'WILLIAM TELL', 'BIRD' AND 'ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL' SCREENING AT TIFF TODAY!

The 49th edition of the Toronto Film Festival commences today!

Today’s programme is set to kick the festival off with a bang featuring several echo client films!

WILLIAM TELL will be hosting its world premiere featuring an all-star cast including Sir Ben Kingsley and Jonathan Pryce. The epic historical drama is written and directed by Nick Hamm with Editing by Yan Miles, ACE!

Andrea Arnold’s Canadian premiere of BIRD (pictured) is also on the programme for today, with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird. Following its premiere at this year’s Cannes, the compelling drama stars Barry Keoghan, Franz Rogowski and James Nelson Joyce.

After winning the ‘Best Director’ prize at Cannes, Rungano Nyoni’s ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL will also hold its North American premiere. With Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm.

'MASTERPIECE MOMMY' AND 'WILLIAM TELL' JOIN THIS YEAR'S TIFF LINEUP!

We’re kicking off the week with two echo artists additions to this year’s TIFF lineup!

Dorothy Sing Zhang’s MASTERPIECE MOMMY will be making its world premiere at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, starring singer-songwriter, Leah Dou in her first international acting debut.

Produced by Iconoclast, the musical short film features Hair + Make-Up Design by Natasha Lawes.

WILLIAM TELL will also be hosting its world premiere at TIFF!

Filled with an all-star cast including Sir Ben Kingsley, Claes Bang, Jonathan Pryce, and Rafe Spall, the epic historical drama is produced by Tempo Production.
