'BRING THEM DOWN' + 'THE ASSESSMENT' TO PREMIERE ON DAY FOUR OF TIFF!

Christopher Andrew’s BRING THEM DOWN will be screening its world premiere on day four of TIFF today!

Supported by BFI, Screen Ireland, Tailored Films, MUBI and Stray Bear, the thriller drama stars Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott with Cinematography by echo’s Nick Cooke and Production Design by Fletcher Jarvis.

Another premiere gracing TIFF today will be the sci-fi thriller, THE ASSESSMENT (pictured) directed by Fleur Fortuné in her feature debut.

Featuring Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Olsen with Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop!

'STARVE ACRE' OUT IN CINEMAS TODAY!

The wait is finally over - STARVE ACRE has officially hit UK screens today!

Directed by Daniel Kokotajlo and based on the novel by Andrew Michael Hurley, this highly anticipated British horror film was selected for the London Film Festival.

Produced by BBC Film and BFI, we’re excited to see echo artists work from Production Designer Francesca Massariol, Costume Designer Emma Fryer, and Hair + Make-up Designer Lisa Parkinson.

THE BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2024 LINE UP IS HERE!

The 67th BFI London Film Festival full lineup for this year has been announced and we are proud to see the following echo client projects in the selection!

The festival’s ‘Headline Galas’ category includes Andrea Arnold’s BIRD with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird; HARD TRUTHS directed by Mike Leigh featuring Hair + Make-up Design by Nora Robertson and the Studio Canal and A24 collaboration WE LIVE IN TIME lensed by Stuart Bentley BSC.

Selected for the ‘Official Competition’ category is BRING THEM DOWN with Cinematography by Nick Cooke and Production Design by Fletcher Jarvis. Cannes winner, ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL featuring Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm. THE EXTRAORDINARY MISS FLOWER directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard with Costume Design by Susie Coulthard.

We’re also glad to see TIFF selections, HARVEST with Cinematography by Sean Price Williams and Costume Design by Kirsty Halliday screening for ‘Special Presentations’, ON FALLING starring Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan as part of the ‘First Feature Competition’ and THE ASSESSMENT with Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop for the ‘Journey’ category.

Mikko Mäkelä's SEBASTIAN has also been selected for ‘Journey’ with Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, Hair and Makeup Design by Kat Morgan and Editing by Arttu Salmi, BFE.

Elizabeth Sankey’s WITCHES (pictured) featuring Cinematography by Chloë Thomson BSC is part of the ‘Documentary Competition’.

SISTER MIDNIGHT edited by Napoleon Stratogiannakis has been featured for ‘Cult’; THE LISTENERS with Hair and Make-up Design by Lisa Parkinson for ‘Debate’ and TWO STRANGERS TRYING NOT TO KILL EACH OTHER edited by Josh Mallalieu for ‘Create’.

KIRSTY HALLIDAY AND KAT MORGAN WRAP ON 'TORNADO'!

Production for the survival thriller TORNADO, directed by John Maclean has recently wrapped featuring echo’s Costume Designer, Kirsty Halliday and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan!

Set against the rugged landscape of 1970’s Britain, the feature follows a Japanese puppeteer's daughter as she becomes involved with a crime gang after crossing paths with Sugarman (played by Tim Roth) and his son Little Sugar (Jack Lowden).

Produced by Tea Shop Productions with backing from BFI and Screen Scotland, watch this space!

THE OFFICIAL TRAILER FOR 'SEBASTIAN' IS OUT!

Following the premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the trailer for SEBASTIAN is now out!

Directed and written by Mikko Mäkelä, the drama stars Ruaridh Mollica as Max, an aspiring writer who begins living a double life as a sex worker as research for his upcoming novel.

With echo artists work featuring Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, Hair and Makeup Design by Kat Morgan and Editing by Arttu Salmi, BFE.

TRAILER RELEASE FOR 'STARVE ACRE'!

The trailer for the British horror, STARVE ACRE has been released!

Adapted from the novel of the same name and directed by Daniel Kokotajlo, the film features echo client work by Production Designer Francesca Massariol, Costume Designer Emma Fryer and Hair + Make Up Designer Lisa Parkinson.

Starring Matt Smith and Morfydd Clark, STARVE ACRE is set to be released in UK and Irish cinemas on the 6th of September 2024.

For the seventh year, the BFI is at Cannes with their 2024 GREAT 8 Showcase!

New UK feature films from fresh exciting filmmakers were shown on Thursday including work by our amazing echo artists clients!
