This year’s Shots Awards EMEA shortlist has arrived and we’re excited to see several echo client work featured!

Production Designer, Jon Henson is up for ‘Best Production Design’ for his work on CONSIDERING WHAT? directed by Steve Rodgers for this year’s Channel 4 Paralympics. The powerful campaign is also up for ‘Cinematography’, ‘Concept’ and ‘Direction’!

KORSSHAN SCHLAUER WRAPS ON 'ODYSSEY'!

Echo’s Director of Photography, Korsshan Schlauer has wrapped on Gerard Johnson’s ODYSSEY!

Starring Polly Maberly and Mikael Persbrandt, the film is produced by Electric Shadow Company, and Stigma Films with backing from ESC Studios.

Johnson describes the film as “true to the warped world we find ourselves existing in. This is also a story about the housing crisis and how cities terrorise people. Electric Shadow and Stigma are a perfect team.”

Following shooting in North London, the thriller is currently in the grading process as we eagerly wait for the anticipated first look!

THE EDINBURGH TV AWARDS 2024 NOMINATIONS ARE HERE!

Nominations for this year’s Edinburgh TV Awards are here!

The nominee lineup has a fantastic array of some of the latest top TV series from the past year to date and we’re pleased to see several series featuring echo artist client work.

ONE DAY is up for Best Drama with Cinematography by Nick Cooke on episodes 1-4 and 14 directed by Molly Manners.

MARY & GEORGE starring Julianne Moore is nominated for Best Drama TV Actor with Alex Winckler’s episode 4, edited by Eve Doherty.

The BBC comedy-drama BOARDERS is within the Best Comedy Series and Breakthrough Performance category, lensed by Korsshan Schlauer.

Also up for Best Comedy Series is EXTRAORDINARY Season 2 featuring Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa.

Winners are to be announced next month on the 22nd of August!

'BOARDERS' OUT ON BBC THREE!

Daniel Lawrence Taylor’s comedy-drama series BOARDERS was released last week on BBC 3!

BOARDERS follows five black inner-city teenagers when they are offered scholarships to an elite boarding school. Out of their comfort zones surrounded by upper-class grandeur and complex social rules, we watch as the five become outsiders and navigate surviving in this new environment.

Riddled with satire and set against a stately backdrop, make sure to catch cinematography by echo's Korsshan Schlauer’s featured across the series.

According to ‘The Independent’ this is a series that will be hard to not binge! All episodes are now available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
