THE RTS PROGRAMME AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE HERE!

The RTS Programme Award 2022 Nominations have been announced!

A special congratulations to echo clients for their work on the following nominated projects:

IT'S A SIN, cut by Sarah Brewerton, has received 6 nominations including Best Limited Series. Also nominated for Best Limited Series is TIME, edited by Sacha Szwarc; and STEPHEN with Hair + Makeup Design by Nora Robertson. Congratulations also go to Costume Designer Holly Rebecca, Production Designer Alexandra Toomey + Editor Simon Smith for their work on HELP which has received 2 nominations including Best Single Drama. MOOD IS OUT TONIGHT ON BBC3!

MOOD is out tonight on BBC3. With echo Editors Al Reid cutting episodes 1-3 and Eve Doherty cutting episodes 4 + 5, the six-part series is based on Nicôle Lecky’s critically acclaimed Royal Court play 'Superhoe'. Tune in tonight at 10.05pm or catch it on iPlayer!

'HERE BEFORE' NOW IN UK CINEMAS!

HERE BEFORE is out now! BBC + BFI's psychological thriller was shot by echo DoP Chlöe Thomson, BSC and written + directed by Stacey Gregg. Catch it in UK cinemas and Curzon Home Cinema today!

BRITISH ARROW NOMINATIONS ARE ANNOUNCED!

The British Arrow nominations have been released today and we are so pleased to congratulate echo Production Designer Laura Ellis Cricks for her nomination for her work on DFS “What’s Your Thing”; and Costume Designer Natalie Humphries for her nomination for IKEA “The Hare”! Congratulations also go to all our clients who worked on nominated spots.

The award ceremony will take place on 31st March!

JORDAN PEELE RELEASES TRAILER FOR HIS UPCOMING FILM 'NOPE'!

Jordan Peele has released the trailer for his upcoming film NOPE! The sci-fi horror features Costume Design by echo client Alex Bovaird and stars Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya + Steven Yeun. We cannot wait for it's release in the Summer!

OSCAR NOMINATION FOR THE LONG GOODBYE!

The 94th Oscar nominations have been announced! We are so excited to see that Riz Ahmed + Aneil Karia's THE LONG GOODBYE has been nominated for the Best Live Action Short Film! A huge congratulations to echo DOP Stuart Bentley, BSC and Costume Designer Holly Rebecca who both worked on the brilliant project. Bravo!

THE BAFTA 2022 NOMINATIONS ARE OUT!

The 2022 BAFTA Film nominations were announced today and a huge congratulations goes to echo Hair + Makeup designer Diandra Ferreira who's work featured in both, AFTER LOVE, which has been nominated for 4 BAFTA awards, and FEMME which is nominated for Best British Short! Congratulations also go to Best British Film-nominated EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE, which was cut by echo editor Mark Everson and features Costume Design by Guy Speranza!

THE LINEUP FOR SXSW 2022 HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!

SXSW has revealed its 2022 lineup! The roster includes PIRATES, which was directed by Reggie Yates and features work from echo HODs Rachel Clark, Francesca Massariol + Diandra Ferriera, and Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor's short film FOR LOVE, with Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa. SXSW will also host the episodic premieres of Daina Reid's SHINING GIRLS, shot by echo DoP Bonnie Elliott, and HALO, directed by Otto Bathurst and featuring Production Design by Sophie Becher!

ZHANG + KNIGHT DIRECT NEW ARLO PARKS MUSIC VIDEO 'SOFTLY'

Zhang + Knight direct the music video for Arlo Parks' new single SOFTLY - with Production Design by echo client Oian Arteta. Arlo described the visuals as a 'Wim Wenders/Hopper New York fever dream'. Be sure to check it out if you haven't already!

GLASGOW FILM FEST 2022 LINEUP REVEALED!

The lineup for the 2022 Glasgow Film Festival has been revealed! Great to see it includes Anaïs Volpé's THE BRAVES which was shot by echo DOP Sean Price Williams; Ruth Paxton's A BANQUET with Hair + Makeup Design by echo client Kat Morgan; and TRUE THINGS, directed by Harry Wootliff and featuring Production Design by Andy Drummond. Kat and Andy also both worked on BBC Arts collection of monologues SKINT which will have its world premiere at GFF!

SPECIAL SCREENING AND LIVE DIRECTOR Q&A OF AMULET TODAY!

Check out the special screening of AMULET at Finsbury Park Picture House followed by a live Q&A with Director Romola Garai tonight at 7.30pm. The film was cut by echo Editor Alastair Reid, features Production Design by echo's Francesca Massariol and is officially out in cinemas this Friday!

FLUX GOURMET TO PREMIERE AT BERLINALE!

More of the Berlin International Film Festival 2022 programme has been announced!

Peter Strickland's FLUX GOURMET will premiere! The film features Production Design by echo's Fletcher Jarvis and stars Asa Butterfield and Gwendoline Christie.

2022 BERLINALE TO HOST WORLD PREMIERES OF THE RISING AND AGAINST THE ICE!

The Berlin International Film Festival has released further details of its 2022 programme! The festival will host the world premieres of Sky series THE RISING (pictured) which features Production Design by echo client Sami Khan and Netflix's AGAINST THE ICE which was cut by echo Editor Morten Højbjerg and directed by Peter Flint. The full programme will be available on February 1st - stay tuned!

ITALIAN STUDIES PREMIERES IN THE US TODAY!

Adam Leon's ITALIAN STUDIES premieres in the U.S this Friday! The film premiered at Tribeca last year and stars Vanessa Kirby. The UK leg of the shoot was designed by echo's production designer Alexandra Toomey. We'll keep you updated for the official U.K release

ECHO BEST OF 2021: TITANE

The results are in and echo's Number 1 TV and Film project of 2021 goes to...

TITANE! The directorial debut for Julia Ducournau was awarded the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival and the People's Choice Award in Toronto. The thriller was fantastically crafted and crewed, and had us all on the edge of our seats throughout - a true cinematic masterpiece!
