Azazel Jacobs’ FRENCH EXIT is out in the UK today! The brilliant Jane Petrie designed the costumes on this adaptation of Patrick deWitt’s novel. The film stars Oscar nominated Michelle Pfeiffer as a Manhattan socialite who moves to Paris with her son (played by Lucas Hedges) with the small amount of her inheritance she has left.

"FRENCH EXIT" TO CLOSE NEW YORK FILM FESTIVAL!
Azazel Jacobs FRENCH EXIT will close New York Film Festival this year! An adaptation of Patrick deWitt’s novel, the film stars Oscar nominated Michelle Pfeiffer as a Manhattan socialite who moves to Paris with her son (played by Lucas Hedges) with the small amount of her inheritance she has left. The costume design is by echo’s Jane Petrie.
The festival will run from 25th Sept - 11th October and will combine a brand-new virtual presence with carefully designed outdoor screenings.

Costume Designer Jane Petrie is currently working on Azazel Jacobs’ FRENCH EXIT! The film, based on the novel of the same name, stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Lucas Hedges and follows a penniless Manhattan socialite who moves to a small apartment in Paris with her son and cat.
"THE KING": ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS!
David Michôd’s THE KING has it’s World Premiere today at Venice Film Festival ahead of screening at London Film Festival next month! The historical drama stars Timothée Chalamet and Roberts Pattinson and tells the story of Henry the V. The wonderful costumes were designed by echo’s Jane Petrie, who previously collaborated with Michôd on WAR MACHINE.

VENICE FILM FESTIVAL 2019 LINEUP IS OUT!
Venice Film Festival 2019 lineup has been announced! Shannon Murphy’s BABYTEETH, shot by echo’s Andrew Commis, ACS, is in the Official Competition; David Michôd’s THE KING with costume design by echo’s Jane Petrie will also be screened at the fest and ALL THIS VICTORY (pictured), directed by Ahmad Ghossein and edited by echo’s Yannis Chalkiadakis is in the Critics Week lineup. Congratulations!
The festival runs from 28th August - 7th September.
COSTUME DESIGNER, JANE PETRIE IS PREPPING ON HBO'S "THE NEVERS"
Costume Designer, Jane Petrie, is currently prepping on new HBO series THE NEVERS. The sci-fi series will be written and directed by Joss Whedon and is due to start shooting this summer!

"THE CROWN" SERIES 2 COSTUMES EXHIBITION AT HEALS!
Echo’s Jane Petrie’s costume for series 2 of THE CROWN are being shown at Heals Costume Exhibition at Tottenham Court Road featuring five of the series’ costumes worn by Claire Foy, Vanessa Kirby, Lia Williams, Jodi Balfour and Alex Jennings. "OUTLAW KING" FIRST LOOK!
The trailer for David Mackenzie's new feature, OUTLAW KING has been released. The star studded biopic which will open this year's Toronto Film Festival is Produced by Sigma, Netflix and Anonymous Content and tells the story of the King of Scots, Robert The Bruce, and his fight against the ruling English. The film stars Chris Pine, Florence Pugh and Aaron Taylor-Johnson and features costume design by Jane Petrie and hair design by Kirstin Chalmers. The film will be officially released on Netflix on November 9th.
JANE PETRIE STARTS SHOOTING DAVID MICHÔD'S NEW MOVIE "THE KING"
THE KING, produced by Netflix, Plan B and Porchlight Films, starring Joel Edgerton and Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet has now started shooting. The film brings Costume Designer, Jane Petrie and director David Michôd to collaborate again after working together on WAR MACHINE.

A huge congratulations to our clients who worked on the following projects that won tonight at the BAFTA TV Awards. THREE GIRLS won Best Mini-Series and Best Leading Actress for Molly Windsor, with costume design by Emma Fryer; PEAKY BLINDERS won Best Drama Series for the first time, edited by Dan Roberts and hair + make-up design by Loz Schiavo; THE CROWN Series 2 picked up Best Supporting Actress for Vanessa Kirkby, with costume design by Jane Petrie. BAFTA TV NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED!
The nominations for this year's BAFTA TV Awards are out and we would like to congratulate our clients for their work on the following shows; THREE GIRLS has been nominated for 3 awards including Best Mini-Series, with costume design by Emma Fryer; THE CROWN Series 2 follows suit with 3 awards including Best Drama Series with costume design by Jane Petrie; Anupam Kher has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor for THE BOY WITH THE TOPKNOT, edited by Sarah Brewerton and PEAKY BLINDERS has also been nominated for Best Drama Series with hair + make-up design by Loz Schiavo and edited by Dan Roberts. TBT - CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY: "SUFFRAGETTE"
Today's throwback is to Jane Petrie's wonderful Costume Design on SUFFRAGETTE, showing on Film4 tonight at 9pm in aid of International Woman's Day. Released back in 2015, the award-winning movie, directed by Sarah Gavron and starring Carey Mulligan, tells the story of the Suffragette movement and how it led to women in the UK finally having the right to vote.
After a highly lauded first season, THE CROWN returns for ten episodes tonight on Netflix with Jane Petrie helming costume design. Claire Foy reprises her role as Queen Elizabeth II as the series continues to explore her increasingly troubled relationship with Prince Philip, played by Matt Smith. Creator Peter Morgan is still on board with Stephen Daldry, Benjamin Caron, Philip Martin and Philippa Lowthorpe directing for Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television.
