NEW ADDITION TO TIFF

The Toronto International Film Festival will feature the world premiere of On Falling, the debut film from director Laura Carreira. Produced by Sixteen Films and Bro Cinema, the film showcases the creative talents of echo Production Designer Andy Drummond and Hair and Make-Up Designer Kat Morgan. Financial backing comes from BFI, BBC Films, Screen Scotland, and ICA, the story centers on Aurora, a Portuguese worker navigating life in a Scottish warehouse.

We are thrilled to announce that HARVEST, produced by Sixteen Films and backed by BBC Films, will make its world premiere in competition at this year's Venice Film Festival.

Directed by Athina Rachel Tsangari, with stunning cinematography by Sean Price Williams and exquisite costume design by Kirsty Halliday, HARVEST tells the compelling story of a village grappling with economic turmoil. The arrival of three newcomers ignites tensions, leading to them being scapegoated by the locals.

TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED!

The 49th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival has announced its full lineup today, showcasing some of echo clients remarkable work!

Following successful premieres at Cannes this year, BIRD, directed by Andrea Arnold with costume design by Alex Bovaird, and ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL, directed by Rungano Nyoni and lensed by David Gallego ADFC with production design by Malin Lindholm, will be featured.

BRING THEM DOWN, lensed by Nick Cooke, designed by Fletcher Jarvis and directed by Christopher Andrews, and HARD TRUTHS, directed by Mike Leigh with hair and makeup by Nora Robertson, will both have their world premieres at the festival.

WE LIVE IN TIME, featuring cinematography by Stuart Bentley BSC and directed by John Crowley, and THE ASSESSMENT directed by Fleur Fortuné and Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop will also have its world premiere. Meanwhile, HARVEST, directed by Athina Rachel Tsangari with work by DOP Sean Price Williams and costume designer Kirsty Halliday, will have its North American premiere.

As we gear up for next month’s Paralympics in Paris, check out the latest Channel 4 campaign ‘Considering What?’ directed by Steve Rodgers!

Produced by Biscuit and 4Creative, the campaign portrays Paralympians facing universal challenges including gravity, friction and time.

Following a Channel 4 study that showed 59% of people watched the Paralympic Games to “see athletes overcoming their disabilities”, the underlying theme is to challenge these perceptions.

Starring athletes including Aaron Phipps, Sarah Storey and Emmanuel Oyinbo-Coker, the commercial features Production Design by echo’s Jon Henson!

The 76th Emmy nominations are out - congratulations to Alex Bovaird who has been nominated for Outstanding Contemporary Costume Design for TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY as well as the show being nominated for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

3 BODY PROBLEM received a nomination for Outstanding Drama series, which features editing by Simon Smith and Hair and Make Up by Emma Scott.

SCOOP has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, featuring amazing Hair and Make Up prosthetics work by echo’s Kirstin Chalmers.

The award ceremony for the Creative Arts Emmys will take place on 7th & 8th of September.
