Massive congratulations to the trio of echo DoPs with projects officially selected at the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival!
Nadim Carlsen, DFF collaborated with Ali Abbasi on his latest feature HOLY SPIDER, selected as part of the Official Competition. In the Un Certain Regard section, Maria von Hausswolff lensed Hlynur Palmason's VANSKABTE LAND, while David Gallego, ADFC shot Riley Keough and Gina Gammell's debut feature, the UNTITLED PINE RIDGE PROJECT.
We can't wait to see their wonderful work in Cannes!

RTS WINS FOR IT'S A SIN AND HELP!
In even more brilliant awards news, the RTS Awards took place last night with award wins for excellent projects worked on by echo clients:
Channel 4 mini-series IT’S A SIN, cut by echo's Sarah Brewerton and directed by Peter Hoar, took home 3 awards including Best Limited Series and Marc Munden's HELP won Best Single Drama, featuring Costume Design by Holly Rebecca, Production Design by Alexandra Toomey + cut by Simon Smith. Congratulations!
THE 2022 BAFTA TV NOMINATIONS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED!
It's a Sin leads the 2022 BAFTA TV Nominations with an outstanding 12 nominations - including a hugely deserved Best Editing: Fiction nomination for echo Editor Sarah Brewerton!
A huge congratulations also go to our clients that worked on the following nominated projects: TIME (cut by Sacha Szwarc) received 5 nominations including Best Mini Series; STEPHEN (Hair + Makeup by Nora Robertson) is also nominated for Best Mini Series; HELP (cut by Simon Smith, Costume Design by Holly Rebecca and Production Design by Alex Toomey) has 6 nominations including Best Single Drama; and I AM VICTORIA (shot by Stuart Bentley, BSC), is nominated for Best Single Drama!
The awards will be held on 8th May 2022!

echo is 5! I can't quite believe it. I am so proud of what we've achieved in the the last 5 years, especially with everything the last couple has thrown at us through the pandemic. Flash back to March 2017, starting this adventure on my own. To now, where I get to work with 15 (and growing) wonderful, dedicated, hard working colleagues. All of whom who have helped me build the company into what it is and something we can all be proud of. We still have so much we want to achieve, and perfect, but our ethos is to always go above and beyond for our clients. It takes a village to do what we do!
So I'd like to say thank you to our clients, who are brilliant and we are so delighted they are part of the team. But I'd also like to shout out to Sophie, Cissie, Anam, Georgie, Claire, Nick, Zoe, Shanti, Anna, Daniella, Tina, Jade, Millie, Yohan and Ericka. What a bunch! Here is to many more successful years ahead!
