‘WITCHES’ WINS BEST FEATURE DOC AT THE BIFAS!

This year’s BIFA Awards celebrated exceptional talent in British independent cinema, with notable wins across the board.

Best Feature Documentary went to WITCHES, directed by Elizabeth Sankey featuring Cinematography by echo’s Chloë Thomson, BSC.

Rungano Nyoni won Best Director and Susan Chardy earned Breakthrough Performance for ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL, which features Cinematography by echo’s David Gallego, ADFC and Production Design by echo’s Malin Lindholm.

Best Lead Performance went to Marianne Jean-Baptiste in HARD TRUTHS which features work from echo’s Hair + Make Up Designer Nora Robertson while Franz Rogowski took home Best Supporting Performance in BIRD, which features work from echo’s Costume Designer Alex Bovaird.

Christopher Andrews won the Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director for BRING THEM DOWN, working alongside echo's Cinematographer Nick Cooke and Production Designer Fletcher Jarvis.
