A GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW IS OUT THIS WEEKEND!

The TV mini-series A GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW is out on Paramount+ today in the US and on the 31st for UK viewers!

Based on the 2016 novel, the historical drama centres around aristocrat Count Alexander Rostov played by Ewan McGregor.

Directed by Sam Miller and Sarah O’Gorman, we’re looking forward to catching episodes 1 and 8 edited by echo’s Tim Murrell.

CONGRATS TO THE BRITISH ARROWS 2024 WINNERS!

The 2024 British Arrows Awards ceremony took place last night!

It was a special night for all the great commercials from last year and we were happy to see all the echo client wins!

Echo winners include:

Make My Money Matter “Oblivia Coalmine” won within a few Arrows categories with Hair and Make Up Design by Natasha Lawes and Production Design by Bobbie Cousins. Similarly with Cadbury “Speakerphone” including Costume Design by Jo Thompson.

McDonald's “Keep Up With The Times” starring Production Design by Jon Henson and Girl vs Cancer “Sex and Cancer” featuring Production Design by Sophie Becher won Arrows for Integrated Campaign.

The moving campaign for Stonewall “It's Not Therapy, It's Abuse” won an Arrow with Production Design by Francesa Massariol. Not to mention the dynamic campaigns for Arsenal “Third Kit 23/24 Launch with Costume Design by George Buxton and EE “Sunday Funday” including Hair and Make Up Design by Kat Morgan were also winners on the night.

Well done to all the winners involved!

The delicate commercial bathed in the vocals of Saint Saviour from Groove Armada shows one family’s path and how their journeys to various destinations have played pivotal roles in shaping their lives.

ECHO'S LISA PARKINSON NOMINATED FOR BAFTAS HAIR AND MAKE UP DESIGN!

The BAFTA Television and Craft nominations have arrived!

We’re proud to see echo’s Lisa Parkinson nominated for Hair and Make Up Design for her work on THE LONG SHADOW (pictured).

THE LONG SHADOW is also up for Best Limited drama Series with editing by Sacha Szwarc.

Other echo artists work featured in the nominations list include THE GOLD (with Cinematography by Stuart Bentley BSC, editing by Mark Keady) and TOP BOY (featuring work by Production Designer Alexandra Toomey; Costume Designer Natalie Humphries; DoP Federico Cesca, Editor Matteo Bini) for Best Drama Series.

LOCKERBIE is nominated for Best Factual Series shot by Will Pugh and THE ENFIELD POLTERGEIST shot by Ruben Woodin Dechamps for Specialist Factual Series.

THE LAST OF US is a contender for Best International Series with Ali Abassi’s eps shot by echo’s DoP, Nadim Carlsen DFF and EXTRAORDINARY is up for a few nominations including Best Scripted Comedy with Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa and episodes 1-4 lensed by DoP Carlos Catalan!

Winners of the BAFTA TV Craft Awards will be announced on the 28th of April. The BAFTA TV Awards will be held on May 12th!

Don’t miss the latest campaign for Amazon in collaboration with UEFA Women’s Football. As a debut in the commercial world for BAFTA nominated director Molly Manning Walker, THE GRIT shines a spotlight on real women football players and the heart behind the game.

Another newly released commercial is with INVALUABLE ADVICE for St James Place directed by Frederic Planchon showcasing the uplifting role a financial adviser has in a family’s life.

We’re glad to see that TOP BOY (pictured) is up for Best Drama Series with three other nominations under its belt. With echo artists work by Production Designer Alexandra Toomey, Costume Designer Natalie Humphries, DoP Federico Cesca (episodes 1-4) and Editor Matteo Bini (on episodes 5 + 6).

THE GOLD is also in the running for Best Drama Series with episodes 1, 3 and 4 shot by Stuart Bentley BSC and episode 4 edited by Mark Keady

EXTRAORDINARY S1 acquired 2 noms featuring Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa and lens work also by Carlos Catalan on episodes 1-4. Akin to TIME featuring Editor Sacha Szwarc on episodes 1-3 and NOLLY with Editor Sarah Brewerton on episodes 1-3.

Another nominee is RAIN DOGS with episodes 1, 2, 7 and 8 lensed by DoP Carlos Catalan.

Directed by Oliver Hermanus, Alex Winckler and Florian Cossen; the period drama mini-series MARY & GEORGE is now out on Sky Atlantic and Now TV.

Focused around the societal climb of Mary Villiers, Countess of Buckingham (played by Julianne Moore) and her son George (Nicholas Galitzine), the series is filled with schemes, debauchery and shock around every corner.
